Shikherjee (Madhuban/Parasnath) being the holiest and the greatest shrine for Jain community all over the world, a very large number of devotees visit the shrine for Puja-archana and other rituals. This is an ancient centre of deep meditation (Tapasya) of Jain Tirthankaras / Saint (Muni). Twenty out of twenty four Tirthankaras acquired salvation from Sammed Shikharjee . The essence and the power of Sammed Shikherjee had attracted all devotees/disciples determined to acquire self contentment and peace. It was the penance and meditation of Jain saints that made the pilgrimage a place of auspiciousness, filling the hearts and minds of devotees with joy and pleasure in worshiping the holy mountain (Parwat Vandana)
