A large number of Jain devotees arrive at Shikherjee every year for Vandana. Some come with their families and some in groups. A necessity of good accommodation for their stay at Shikherjee was experienced. To meet their requirements, the Sri Digamber Jain Shaswat Tirthraj Sammed Shikhar Trust came into existence on 6th January, 1997. The aim of the Trust was to provide good boarding & lodging facilities to the devotees who come to Shikherjee. As per the provisions of this Trust, it is being run by All India Digamber Jain Samaj. 35 Trustees are selected for three years.
To accommodate the pilgrims with modern facilities, it was resolved that some construction to meet the requirement of accommodation be carried out and in this perspective Shaswat Bhawan in phase I and Niharika in phase II were constructed. These two buildings have 130 rooms with all the modern requirements. Later on a Jain Temple (Bhagwan 1008 Parswanath Swami, Maa Padmawati and Kshetrapalji) was also taken up in Shaswat Vihar (Niharika) campus. The rooms are named as Niharika, super deluxe, annexy, deluxe, manglam, shubham etc.
At the outset, from 31st January 1999 a Bhojnalaya was started in Bispathi Kothi on no-charge basis. Pilgrims liked it very much. Construction of own kitchen was started in 2001. With the amount collected by Shri Shrikishorji and Shri Chakreshji from Rath Pravartan in Delhi the construction of new kitchen and Shaswat Bhawan was completed under the supervision and guidance of Shri C.M.Patni, Hazaribag and Shri Subhash Jain, Delhi. On 23rd January, 2003 the Bhojanshala with Modern facilities was inaugurated by Dharmadhikari Shri Virendra Hegde and the Governor of Jharkhand Mahamahim Rama Jayas. From the very beginning till date the entire work of construction has been looked after successfully by the General Secretary of the Trust Shri Rajkumar Jain Ajmera - Hazaribagh. At present the President of the Trust is Shri Shikharchan Pahadhiya - Mumbai and the Treasurer is Shri Mahendra Kumar Jain - Ranchi.
